LMI Technologies Featured 3D Body Scanning at Siggraph 2013

Last week, our team exhibited at Siggraph 2013. It was nice to interact with everyone at the show and to demonstrate our 3D scanning technologies there. The event brought thousands of computer graphics and interactive technology professionals internationally to the Anaheim Convention Center in California.

We want to thank attendees who came by our booth. We scanned over 500 people at the exhibition using a body scanning station that was powered by KScan3D using four Kinect sensors. The Launch of the HDI Advance R3x 3D Scanner at Siggraph

We launched the next generation of the HDI Advance 3D Scanner on the first day of the Siggraph exhibition on July 23. It was the first time we demonstrated the new 3D scanner at a show. The purpose of the redesign pushes the limits of the scanner's hardware by impoving scanning repeatability and ease of use. The system provides great flexibility in scanning people and objects and generates high resolution digital 3D models accurately and quickly in color.
